A PhysiFUN (Physical Fundamentals) card-based activities pack has been developed by the Surrey School Games Organiser (SGO) team to support you in running Change4Life type clubs for your inactive pupils, which also links with our sports leadership training for pupils and Healthy Active Lifestyle training for teachers.
PhysiFUN provides an easy way to target inactive students and help motivate them to become more physically active, using simple structured activities to develop agility, coordination, balance and fitness.
It requires minimal teacher input and no funding to create a fun, vibrant and exciting activity club giving young people the confidence and competence to take part in lifelong physical activity.
PhysiFUN also provides a fantastic leadership opportunity for older students.
Please contact your local SGO if you would be interested in finding out more about PhysiFUN including:
- The PhysiFUN Resource Cards pack - 40+ easy to follow activities to get your pupils moving and learning about being healthy
- Young Leader Training: opportunities to train a team of young leaders (ideally years 5 and 6) to deliver your Change4Life / PhysiFUN club
