Helping Surrey move more

At selected times we run courses and events to help physical activity providers and other influencers break down the barriers that can stop people being more active. We want to help you make it easier for people to move more every day.

Whether you are a professional working in sport, health, or care - or a volunteer - we offer ways to help you build your knowledge and confidence so that you can create the best possible experience for others and help them become more active.

Alongside regular development courses for clubs and coaches, our 'Activating your community' offer typically covers topics related to:

  • Mental health awareness
  • Disability
  • Long term health conditions
  • Age-related falls prevention

During 2021, we are organising a FREE series of lunchtime courses and workshops to help you build your knowledge of specific audiences and othger development opportunities.

Spring / summer 2021 lunchtime programme
