Active Surrey provide guidance and support to help all schools spend their PE & sport premium funding effectively. Together with our School Games Organisers, local and national partner organisations we provide a membership offer, teachers training & networking events, competitions and young leaders training and resources for infant and primary schools.
The PE and Sport Premium is Government funding to help primary schools improve the quality of their physical education, physical activity and sport provision. It has recently been confirmed that the doubled, ring fenced funding will be provided until 2020.
Vision: All pupils leaving primary school physically literate and with the knowledge, skills and motivation necessary to equip them for a healthy, active lifestyle and lifelong participation in physical activity and sport.
Objective: To achieve self-sustaining improvement in the quality of PE and sport in primary schools.
