What are the Surrey School Games?
The Surrey School Games are a year round calendar of competitions and events for primary, secondary and special schools across Surrey, in which over 5,500 young people from 200 schools participate.

Thanks to Sport England National Lottery funding, Active Surrey is proud to deliver one of the biggest and most exciting School Games programmes in the country.
What competitions are in the Surrey School Games?
The Surrey School Games calendar is made up of over 50 competitions including 3 sporting festivals across 20 different sports, from mainstream sports such as netball and rugby to alternative sports like handball, indoor rowing and orienteering. The calendar is fully inclusive and includes a multi sport para games.
The Premier Education Group Values Award is presented at every Festival event to the School who can demonstrate that they understand the Values; determination, passion, self-belief, honesty, respect and team work.
This year, for the cultural programme we ran a poster competition for Years 4-6. This was based on the what the values mean to the children. View the Briefing Sheet to find out more about it. First place was awarded to Lily from Hinchley Wood Primary School, second place was awarded to Viki and third to Sienna, both from Eastwick Junior School. Well done to everyone who took part.
