A new programme has launched to empower people to inspire and organise their colleagues, friends and family to get active.
Just sign up online and book yourself onto a free inspiring workshop, get free Adidas kit and access a network full of people like you, who want to do more sport, but just don’t know where.
By attending a workshop you will have information and confidence to set up your own 5 a side league, organise after work tennis sessions or even start a new lunchtime yoga group. Or maybe you want to be a Golf Sport Maker and have the chance to volunteer at the BMW PGA, at Wentworth Club in May 2012!

If you complete 10 hours of Sport Maker volunteering bef ore 1 May 2012, you will be entered into a ticketshare ballot for a pair of tickets!

Active Surrey are keen to engage with local partners who are interested in developing either volunteers or volunteering opportunities.
For example, you may have an event which you need a team of volunteers to support - Sport Makers could help you.
Or you may be interested in turning some of your colleagues/staff/students into Sport Makers? They would encourage their peers to get involved in sport and physical activity - improving health, mood and getting to socialise at the same time!
