Keeping Children Safe in Sport

Run in conjunction with Surrey's Safeguarding Children Board, the County Cricket Club and the FA, this event takes place in Parents in Sport Week, on 1 October 2018. Primarily aimed at club welfare officers, it will feature speakers covering topics from child sexual exploitation to managing spectator behaviour.  Find out more and book now.

Active Schools Conference

This year's Active Schools Conference will investigate how the emotional wellbeing of pupils can be boosted, and specifically the part that daily physical activity has to play.  Taking place in Guildford on Tuesday 6 November 2018 the keynote comes from Dr Zoe Williams, physical activity champion and presenter of BBC's 'Trust Me, I'm a Doctor', with guest speaker and Commonwealth gold paratriathlete Jade Jones-Hall. Surrey Club & Coach Conference in March 2018 provided a range of development opportunities for coaches and officials from community sports club Alongside the keynote address and potential for networking, this year’s event featured a wide range of workshops.
