Cricket Young Leaders Award
 
Howzat for a fun course?  This award provides skills training to volunteers/helpers to enable cricket to be introduced to young cricketers in a fun and enjoyable way and gives you the skills and knowledge to assist qualified ECB coaches working in club junior sections.  It will also give you a better understanding of the delivery of cricket with safe, effective and organised practices.  (For candidates aged 14 - 19).

ECB Coaching Assistant (UKCC1)
 
Level I equips the beginner coach with skills and knowledge required to introduce and develop cricket amongst young people in an environment of safety and enjoyment. From September 2003, all successful Level I candidates are required to attend a First Aid and Child Protection course and complete a CRB check prior to obtaining a certificate; the opportunity to fulfil this criteria is provided as part of this course.

ECB Coach (UKCC2)
 
The role of the ECB Coach Award (UKCC2) holder is to be able to "prepare for, deliver and review caoching sessions".  This course (24 hours + 10 hours supervised coaching & assessment) will help you to be able to:
  • Introduce and develop the game of cricket to people of all ages in  an enjoyable way
  • Develop FUNdaMENTAL movement skills
  • Develop and improve players (as people as well as cricketers) particularly at FUNdaMENTAL and Learning to Train stages of the LTAD model
  • Develop your coaching skills, knowledge and qualities
