This slam-dunking
award will help you to introduce the game to beginners with simple
teaching, coaching and positional tips and game organisation with

This is the basic level of
coaching qualification, which gives outline knowledge of
basketball, and enables the holder to introduce basketball, or to

This award is required for any coach
wishing to coach in a club or community setting and covers all
aspects of basketball and an introduction to coaching
techniques. Candidates must be 18 years of age or over and
have experience of the game as a player &/or have gained the
Level 1 Assistant Coach award.

This is the Advanced level of coaching
qualification, and is suitable for coaches working with all
standards of players, from beginners to good standard
players.
Holders of the Advanced and 'old'
National Coach Awards may apply to England Basketball and providing
they meet the criteria stipulated by the Coaching Committee will be
awarded the Senior Coach Award in recognition of their knowledge
and commitment to coaching basketball.

Officiating Award
Courses
This course will teach you all you need
to know about officating the game of basketball and all in one
day! This unique course will not only earn you
the apprentice referee award but it also combines it with the
apprentice table officiating award to make this a great all-in-one
officiating course. Learn how to keep score of
games as well as having a "blast" being taught how to officate
matches.

Level 4 Referee
Qualified to officiate at all matches of
Senior National League level.
Qualified to officiate in any match.
This grade is obtained by Level 4 Referees who have
been recommended by England Basketball, and successful when
examined by the International Basketball Federation
(FIBA).
