GENERIC WORKSHOPS

Generic (non-sports-specific) workshops cover a range of different issues.  Click on the Workshops List heading opposite for full details on workshops and courses such as:
These workshops are usually just 2 to 3 hours long (except First Aid 4 - 6 hours) but are packed with up-to-date information, which is useful and relevant to ALL sports.  They are a fantastic way of updating and enhancing your skills & knowledge.

Most workshops provide attendees with a certificate and a comprehensive resource book.

Additional Resources
sports coach UK also offer posters, books and dvds across a wide variety of topics that are not available as a workshop.  You are able to purchase these from Coachwise but click here for a comprehensive list.

WHO ORGANISES SURREY'S COURSES?
ACTIVE SURREY organises most of the workshops throughout Surrey, co-ordinating the needs of coaches and clubs and liaising with training agencies and the National Governing Bodies of Sport.

Most generic workshops are delivered by sports coach UK, an independent agency dedicated to the development and implementation of a world-class coaching system for the UK.

"I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the workshop.  The tutor was absolutely brilliant and made the three hours whizz by.  It was also interesting to hear how other clubs from a variety of sports are addressing this issue"
