QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING

 

Sports coaches can access a whole range of further training courses and workshops, both "sports-specific" and "generic".  Both types of courses and workshops are essential for coaches/officials to be able to offer the best learning/playing experience for players of all ages, in a safe and fair environmen

GENERIC WORKSHOPS

Generic (non sports-specific) workshops include training on issues such as First Aid, Disability, Child Protection, Equity, Psychology, Sports Leadership, Fitness, etc, which cover all sports.  More>>

SPORTS SPECIFIC/NGB COURSES

Sports-Specific courses are Coaching/Officiating Award Qualifications run by sports national governing bodies (NGB's) and offer the latest thinking, as well as many drills & activities for coaches/officials to use.  Click on the link below to find the relevant National Governing Body for more information on specific sports.
