Safeguarding and Protecting Children
3 hour - Theory based
 
Protect yourself, the young people you are coaching and your employer by understanding and following good coaching practice. Learn about child abuse and how to handle situations if you have concerns. By the end of this course you will:
 
 - be able to identify poor standards in coaching and recognise principles of codes of conduct
 - be aware of the truths and myths surrounding child abuse and be able to recognise the signs and symptoms of abuse.
 
Who should attend: Open to all (minimum age: 18 years**).
