YOUNG SPORTS TEAM OF THE YEAR

Molesey Moles U12 Girls Football Team - WINNER
Molesey Moles Girls Football Team won the 2009 County Cup and also came runners up in the Surrey County League for the season ending 2008.  The outstanding attitude of the team meant that they won the sportsmanship trophy voted by the other teams in the League. 
 
Alex Young & Jack Hardie
Frensham Ponds Sailing Club
With hard work and dedication, Alex and Jack have made a mark on the national and international sailing scene.  The boys are currently UK number one in the Cadet dinghy class and also members of the UK national squad.  At the 2008 World Promotional Championships in the Netherlands, the duo won three out of the eight races sailed only failing to win the overall event by four points.  Also in 2008, Jack and Alex finished 2nd in the National Championships in Torquay.  Jack has used his experiences to inspire others by giving talks about sailing to fellow pupils at his school.
 
Kane Bolton & Will Montague
Ashford Tennis Club
Kane and Will make up a Junior Doubles pair at Ashford Tennis Club.  They have won all three team events that they have played in at their club.  In June 2009, the boys also reached the final of the 9 and under Surrey Championships.  They achieved this despite it being their first external tournament.  The positive attitude that Kane and Will display on and off the court continues to excite and inspire others at the club.
