Main Purpose:
You will provide the schools within the
Mid Surrey School Sport Partnership with high quality hockey
coaching. You will work with local schools and
the local community in a wide and varied way with the aim of
increasing participation levels of young people, as well as
offering some specific targeted opportunities.
The initial target group will be year 5
and 6 pupils from across the partnership area, although this may
change as the post develops over time.

Wimbledon Ladies run 5
ladies teams from South Division One to Surrey Div 3 plus a large
Junior section. The club has recently achieved
Club First accreditation. The Wimbledon Club provides excellent

We are seeking a coach able to
lead one of our top ladies teams, dependent upon their
qualifications and experience. They must be in a good position to
continue to develop the experienced and less experienced
players, and support the development of players
through the top tiers of the club. Ultimately, it is anticipated
that the coach will have a key role in supporting the club in their
drive to return to National League competition. Squad
Training is on Tuesday nights. The coach should
be available to attend Saturday matches.
The Ideal coach
should have:
- EH qualifications and experience of coaching senior women.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with players, captains and other coaches.
- An interest in developing with the club in this role.

- To lead coaching across the club; developing and leading drills and sessions within both sections of the club.
- To coordinate coaching by organising our qualified and volunteer club coaches (7 current club coaches at Level 1 or approaching Level 2)
- To develop in-house coaching by mentoring and advising volunteers
- To advise on and participate in other aspects of specialist coaching (e.g. younger colts, goalkeeping, set pieces)
- Our expanding club would like to appoint a Lead Coach for the 2008 / 2009 season to lead the coaching and development programme for the whole club. We need to build on the progress of recent seasons with a coaching strategy for the future. The coach would be expected to attend all adult training sessions and several colts training sessions throughout the season.
The coach will be expected to be
qualified to at least Level 2, hold their own
insurance, be CRB checked and have basic
first aid knowledge.
Adults currently train on Wednesday
evenings (6pm 9.30pm) and Colts on
Sunday Mornings. The club runs 5 Mens
and 3 Ladies competitive teams and
has a thriving Colts
Section

Epsom Hockey Club is looking
for a level 2 qualified coach to help run their junior coaching
sessions.
Coaching sessions run on
Sunday mornings from 9.15am-12 at Blenheim High School, Longmead
Road, Epsom.
This coaching position will
primarily oversee the running of the training sessions (U9-U11 from
9.15-10.30 and U12-U16 from 10.30-12), but also may be
required to attend games.
