Training for sports volunteers
Sports volunteers require training. Their need for more knowledge and skills may be identified before they start, or during their volunteering in the light of their performance and involvement. Regardless, training is vitally important in ensuring that volunteers are better at what they do and more flexible in what they would like to do for their club, whilst the club can show that it recognises their valuable contribution. Trained volunteers not only make your club more effective, they are also more likely to enjoy themselves for a "job well done" and continue volunteering!
