WHERE TO FIND CLUBS NEEDING VOLUNTEERS
EPSOM ROCKETS BASKETBALL CLUB - COACHING
Epsom Rockets Basketball Club is desperately seeking more coaches to help with junior teams. Anyone can apply (no experience necessary, although a passion for sport would be ideal!) and the positions are all voluntary.
Positions will be filled subject to informal interviews and CRB checks.
Main Duties
1. To take part responsibility for the coaching sessions at the Rainbow Leisure Centre on any of the following training sessions:
Tuesdays - 6.30pm 8.00pm
Thursdays 4.15pm 5.45pm
Fridays 5.00pm 6.30pm
2. To help prepare all coaching sessions beforehand.
3. To work with and include other assistant coaches in the preparation and running of each session.
4. To attend and coach participants in Surrey League games when necessary.
5. To offer the feedback on the organisation and degree of success of junior coaching and competitions to the Leisure Developments Team at Epsom & Ewell Borough Council
6. To assist in the selection of teams if appropriate i.e Surrey Youth Games, Surrey League.
7. To inform the Sports Development Team in advance of any sessions that cannot be attended.

GYMNASTICS & TRAMPOLINE COACHES

Are you looking to get involved with a
successful and growing Club in Surrey?

Team!
Flair has been running gymnastics and
trampoline programmes for 10 years and has centres in Woking,
Bisley and Sunbury with plans to open 2 new centres in the near
future.
Flair will assist in your personal
development as a Volunteer in the Club by suggesting appropriate
training courses to attend either in house or under the British
Gymnastics development course programme. The
Flair in house training programme is held twice a
year.
Flair will provide you with a Mentor
Coach to answer any Club and coaching questions and help to guide
you in your personal development as a Volunteer in the
Cub.

UNISPORT
(UNIVERSITY OF SURREY) - DISABILITY SPORT
Are you interested in volunteer
opportunities supporting young disabled people in
sports?
You can develop existing and new skills,
and help everyone enjoy activities like trampolining, climbing,
dance, multisports and much, much more!
Volunteers are needed to assist on
Saturdays, 9.30am-12.30pm at UniSPORT, the University of Surrey in
Guildford.

Whether you're new to volunteering or a
volunteering veteran, this website gives you an excellent start if
you're not sure where to search for opportunities! As part of
the charity YouthNet and launches in 2001, Do-it is still the only
national database of volunteering opportunities in the UK. It
allows people to search the database for opportunities whilst local
(and some national) clubs can advertise volunteer vacancies, with
the majority of opportunities directed through local
Volunteer Centres.

A Volunteer

individuals and groups interested in volunteering with appropriate

website - so you can
look on it to see opportunities in sport locally and
nationally!
