Play Sport, Stay Safe

Lead Child Protection Officers from the seven County Sports Partnerships in the South East region have worked with The Child Protection in Sport Unit to produce a series of leaflets, which promote good practice in safeguarding children and young people in sport.

The leaflets are aimed at three audiences: parents, sports clubs and sports coaches.  They have been designed to raise awareness and help parents understand what they should expect from a high quality sports organisation as well as to support clubs and coaches in following best practice so they are able to provide safe, fun and appropriate activities.
