SPORTS DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES
 
There are a variety of sports development opportunities that individuals can apply for,  including sport development officer posts, sports specific officer roles and voluntary internships.  Below is a list of what is currently available within Surrey and beyond.

ASSISTANT SPORTS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
 
Active Surrey are offering a 10-week voluntary internship to a dedicated, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual. They will join a dynamic, committed team to help deliver sporting activity and improvements throughout Surrey.
 
As Assistant Sports Development Officer your role will be to assist in club development, improving the quality of clubs in Surrey, and also to assist the coordination of a national sports development initiative, Extending Activities.
 
This is a dual role designed to give the successful candidate experience in the sports development industry. It will provide experience in club development and management of a sports development programme (Extending Activities) Training will be provided throughout the duration of the internship.
 
Hours: 21 - 36 per week (negotiable)
Venue: Active Surrey Sports Partnership (Guildford, GU1 1JY)
Closing date: 29th August
Interview date: 10th September
