RECOGNISING
OUR VOLUNTEERS
It is that time again when
England Netball are asking for your help in saying a massive thank
you to our huge volunteer workforce. The Goalden Globe Awards are
England Netball's annual Volunteer Award Ceremony.
As you are all
aware, there are a great number of coaches, teachers and volunteers
within Surrey that make a significant contribution to the
development of netball in the County. Unfortunately, a lot of their
good work goes unrecognised as we fail to nominate them for
volunteer awards.
There are six
award categories including Community Netball Volunteer of the Year
Award, Netball Teacher of the Year and Young Volunteer of the
Year.
Please ensure
that Surrey's volunteers receive recognition at both Regional and
National level by taking the time to complete a nomination
form.
Full details of
Award categories and criteria can be found on the England Netball website, along with
nomination forms.
Closing date 31 March
2008.
