Active Surrey has teamed up with Hockey GK coach Simon Mason (ex England and GB).
The course is open to all levels and is well worth attending if you want to improve your goal keeping coaching ability.

What do we aim
to do?
Give you a better
understanding on how to coach the basic skills of Goal Keeping
· Identify what skills and techniques a goal keeper may need
to develop · Give you effective GK drills that you can
utilise with your field players · Equip you with the
knowledge that will allow you play a critical role in the
development of young goal keepers aspiring to represent their
club/school and ultimately their country Who is the Guest
Presenter? Our Guest Presenter, is former 3 time Olympian Goal
Keeper Simon Mason.
Simons impressive
playing history has seen him reach 198 Caps for England and GB,
playing in the 96, 2000, 2004 Olympics, 7 Club and International
European Cups which included being in the winning club team in
2003. Simon has also attended 3 Hockey World Cups, and been very
successful in his club hockey winning the Premier League in 1997
and 2006. Simon is also an Active Mens and Womens GK coach and
produced a Goal Keeping document for England Hockey.
