- Gain an understanding of Quality Coaching and the skills needed to become a qulaity coach.
- Highlight the CPD opportunities available to them from ASSP and NGB partners to develop them to be the best coach they can be.
The afternoon session brought ALL new and old CSC together and gave them the opportunity to meet each other and learn from others.
Michelle Jeffcoate (Surrey scUK CDO) and Chris Marsden (Sussex scUK CDO) delivered a 3 hour session on Motivation and Behaviour Management and identified methods of dealing with poor behaviour within coaching sessions and tips on how to motivate young people to combat misbehaviour.
Running alongside that the ASSP Partnership Manager, Sarah White, Penny Woods (Quality & Performance Manager) and Suzanna Freeman (Sport & Education DO) delivered Coach Manager Training around safeguarding young people and school-club links.
