Reporting Your Concerns

It is not your responsibility to decide whether or not abuse or bullying is taking place or has taken place, but it is your responsibility to act upon any concerns you may have about poor practice or potential abuse.

We recognise that it can be difficult but reporting such concerns should never be delayed and allegations made by children or young people must never be dismissed.

If you're concerned about the safety or welfare of a child or young person, please contact one of the following organisations:

Surrey Children's Services

Sports clubs and organisations should have a designated Child Welfare or Child Protection Officer. If your child is taking part in activities run by a local club or organisation, this officer should be your first point of contact should you have any concerns.
