CLUBS WORKSHOP
The CASC initiative seeks
to recognise the important role played by sports clubs in local
communities and distinguish them from businesses for rates and tax
purposes. Many of the financial benefits of
charitable status are therefore available without the accompanying
administrative responsibilities. The scheme
offers a real opportunity to keep money in the sport and recreation
sector.
