Count Me In
On 2nd September 2004 the English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) launched its 4 year framework 'Count me In'
The framework sets out clear priorities aims and objectives for the next four years for Disabilty Sport in England
"The Count me in framework shows how this government is comitted to ensuring that everyone is given the opportunity to participate in sport and physical activity by removing barriers, widening opportunities and increasing choice"

Count Me In Accreditation
Scheme,
To follow on from the 4
year framework, in January this year, the EFDS launched a new high
profile accreditation scheme also called 'Count Me
In'
The
accreditation is aimed at rewarding all leisure organisations that commit themselves to
giving disabled people the same rights to sporting opportunities as
non-disabled people.
EFDS will support any
organisation wanting to be counted in for the new
award,
