SURREY SPORTS LEADERS INTO COACHING
(SLIC)

DO YOU WANT TO BECOME A SPORTS COACH?

If you are aged between 16 - 21, currently volunteering in a local sports club or you are coaching already for a club, youth centre, football in the community or school club setting in Surrey then the Sports Leaders Into Coaching scheme can help you!

The SLIC programme can help you onto the coaching ladder and focus on what you want to achieve through coaching 1 or more sports, whether it is to build experience for a future career as a coach or for your CV in general!

Young leaders/coaches will be identified and asked to be a part of the programme if they live in Surrey or go to a club in Surrey and are already doing the following:

A support package of mentoring and coaching qualifications is available to successful applicants:  Access to a training and mentoring programme through your club
For more information about the programme please Sarah Williams on 01483 518957. You can also email any questions about the scheme to:sarah.williams@surreycc.gov.uk
