RICHMOND
RAVERS JUNIOR NETBALL CLUB - COACH
REQUIRED
Richmond Ravers Netball Club
has been established 3 years and is based at Old Deer Park
Richmond. We welcome girls from 8yrs - 16yrs and presently
have approx 100 members in the club across the age groups. We
participate in the Junior Non Such Tournament which has 4 meets
during the season. I am delighted that at the final meet yesterday
we secured 3 gold medal places out of the 7 teams
entered.
We are presently looking for 1/2 assistant coaches to work with myself and other coaching staff. Coaching experience is not necessary though a knowledge and passion for netball is crucial as is a fun, confident personality and it would be preferable ( but not necessary) if netball was played competitively.
The club presently operates from 10am - 2pm every Saturday in term time from September - Mid May as follows:
10am - 11am U10's
11am - 12pm U11's
12pm - 1pm U 12's
1pm - 2pm U13/U14's
However, as the club is expanding we may need to combine some age groups and hire out more courts. The hours are negotiable ie. they may prefer to work all 4 hours or only work with the younger/ older girls for 1 or 2 hours.
The pay would be £8.00 per hour increasing when coaching qualifications are gained which the club will fund.
We are a friendly and sociable club who enjoys competition. We are lucky to have the welcome support of Richmond Sports Development Team as well as the input of many parents. Students who have previously been involved in coaching duties at the club found the experience valuable, enjoyable and rewarding.
Anyone interested in being part of this thriving young club and who hopes to further their career prospects please contact Head Coach, Julie Laidler at odpnc@hotmail.co.uk or telephone 07900 900807
