WHAT WILL SYCO OFFER ME?

Qualifications - For between £20 and £40, you can attend a National Governing Body (NGB) recognised coaching and/or officiating course normally costing up to £70. If you really enjoyed yourself these courses could be your springboard into a lifetime supporting sport, whether as a coach, official, referee or administrator, as a volunteer, part-time or fully employed!
Skills - It will help you build self-confidence, communication, leadership and organisation skills.
Citizenship You will be helping your local community whilst working with experienced coaches and officials helping you gain respect for their roles.
Friendship - You will meet like-minded young people from across Surrey and beyond!
Leadership - Being part of the programme could also count towards your Duke of Edinburgh's Award or voluntary time for your CSLA certificate.
Certification You will receive additional certificates for 15, 25 and 50 hours of volunteering following your training and have the opportunity to be voted Surrey's "Young Sports Volunteer of the Year"
Employment - It's great for your CV!!! We'll keep you up-to-date with local news of training, volunteering and employment opportunities.
FUN - Most importantly it will be a FUN and rewarding experience.
