Surrey Sports Board

Surrey's County Sports Partnership (CSP) is a network of groups and organisations from the local government, education, business, sport, health and voluntary sectors.

They are committed to working together via their membership of the Surrey Sports Board (SSB), a stakeholder representative group set up to shape and influence the strategic direction of sport and physical activity in the county of Surrey.  The Board's vision is a more active & successful sporting county.

The Board aims to be the voice of sport and physical activity for Surrey on local, regional and national consultative matters.

Sporting SurreySurrey Sport & Physical Activity Strategy

Following 12 months of consultation, the new Surrey Sport & Physical Activity Strategy 2011-15 has been produced and was launched at the Surrey Sports Conference (May 2011).  The strategy aims to achive the following outcomes:

  1. Everyone has the opportunity to be active for life
  2. Strong, sustainable infrastructure is available in every community
  3. Sufficient, well-managed facilities meet Surreys needs
  4. Talented performers are supported
